Grief

"Grief is the price love pays for being in the same world with death"

Margaret Deland

Grief is a journey. It is something we must pass through. We cannot avoid it. We can't get around it. I see it as dark tunnel through a steep and dangerous mountain. The best we can do is prepare ourselves for the journey and when ready, walk towards grief, with the understanding that this journey is necessary if we want to move forward and come to terms with our loss.

A life without grief and loss would be a life where you have never loved or cared. The pain we feel when grieving is equal to the love we have lost.

If you are having problems accepting loss and moving forward Existential Therapy may help.
