It is dangerous and irresponsible to drive a car when drunk. Others can get hurt.

The same applies to parents and the impact of excessive drinking on their children. All of my clients who are the children of heavy drinkers remember a loss of connection with their parents when they were drunk. If you are struggling with managing alcohol or drug use, and you are a parent, seek therapy for your sake, and for the sake of your children.
